Dental Trauma Management: common questions

My tooth was knocked out — what should I do?

Hold it by the crown (not the root), keep it in milk or saliva and reach us as soon as possible. Fast action greatly improves the chances of saving it.

Will a chipped tooth need a crown?

Small chips are often repaired with a composite restoration; larger fractures may need a crown or root canal. We'll advise after examining it.
